Golf influencer Paige Spiranac revealed “good news and bad news” after exposing a fan for posting comments about her appearance on social media.
Taking to X on Thursday, Spiranac explained that she was “getting flooded” with messages after sharing last week that “there is this guy who comments ‘great cans’ on everything I post.”
“Good news and bad news Bad news,” Spiranac wrote. “Bad news is he hasn’t sent me a ‘great cans’ message since I posted this which is devastating.

“Good news is I’m now getting flooded by ‘great cans’ messages by the rest of you.”
Spiranac stirred buzz last week when she posted a screengrab of a DM from the fan, whom she said “has never missed a post for years.”
She added, “In a world full of hate and despair I know he will always be there for me to lift my spirits.”
Spiranac, who did not share their name, was covering The Players Championship, at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., with Skratch — a golf and culture brand — at the time.
She also covered the Genesis Invitational in February with Skratch.

The influencer is open about the pitfalls of dealing with negative comments and posts about her looks online.
During an Instagram Q&A last month, Spiranac shared that she was “in a bit of a funk” and trying to work through.
She explained that she recently pulled back from social media because “I feel like my anxiety has taken control,” resulting in her “overthinking everything.”
Spiranac has 7 million followers across Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok.
