But if you’re wanting to stay in the Bridgerton bubble for a bit longer, one TV fanatic has shared her top nine picks of shows that are similar to the Netflix hit show.

Taking to TikTok, one user named Eleanor, who is better known as ‘ghoulgirlelle’ for her 348,100 followers, often shares her top film and TV recommendations, including lists of shows that are similar to other hit shows. In a recent post, she went on to share nine shows to watch if you love Bridgerton.

“TV shows to watch if you love Bridgerton,” she wrote before getting into her list.

The Great

The first show on her list is called The Great, which is a dark, satirical drama taking place in the 18th century that’s available to watch on Netflix. It follows a young Catherine the Great, played by Elle Fanning, who arrives in Russia to get married to Peter III of Russia.

However, she soon finds herself embroiled in a world of dogmatic beliefs and customs, which she tries to alter, as she’s forces to choose between her personal happiness and the future of Russia.

The Empress

The Empress is a German historical drama show, based on the life of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. It follows rebellious Elisabeth von Wittelsbach, Princess of Bavaria and the sister of the woman Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria-Hungary is to marry.

She then enters a world of tensions and intrigue at the Viennese court, as she soon becomes one of Vienna’s most iconic and beloved figures, which viewers have loved to watch. The show, which has two series, has earned itself a score of 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Reign

Meanwhile, Reign is a four season long historical romantic drama following the young Mary, Queen of Scots, as she navigates the dangerous French court, love, and political intrigue.

Mary is seen trying to secure her politically strategic engagement to the French king’s son, Prince Francis, to secure an alliance to Scotland. Meanwhile, she’s also facing the challenges of ruling a country while also trying to find a balance between the demands of her country and those of her heart.
