A shocking incident has been reported from a flight between Assam and Kolkata on Saturday evening. A scary bomb threat was spotted with lipstick in the plane’s washroom, which led to an emergency landing at 7:37 pm. The IndiGo flight 6E6894 (A-320) was scheduled from Dibrugarh Airport in Assam to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata. This is the second threat in a day for an IndiGo flight.
IndiGo flight receives a bomb threat
ANI reported, “A security threat was reported this evening on IndiGo flight 6E6894 (A-320) operating from Dibrugarh to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport after a suspicious message, reportedly written with lipstick inside the aircraft toilet, indicating a bomb threat. The aircraft landed safely at 19:37 hrs IST and was immediately moved to the isolation bay as per established security protocols. All passengers were safely deborded.”

What have the officials reported?
The airport authorities said that the IndiGo flight landed safely at 7:37 pm. Later, it was taken to the isolation bay immediately. They also stated that all the passengers were evacuated safely.

Second threat in a day
This has come as the second bomb threat of the day. Initially, on Saturday morning, another IndiGo flight, 6E3074, received a bomb threat. The flight was going all the way from Kolkata to the Shillong air terminal when the incident was reported. The ‘bomb threat’ note was found inside the plane.
Earlier in the day, Kolkata Airport Director said, “Kolkata Airport Director says, “Bomb scare in Kolkata to Shillong IndiGo 6E3074, which was scheduled to depart at 9:15 AM, from Kolkata Airport. The aircraft has been moved to the isolation bay. During boarding, crew members found a piece of paper inside the aircraft’s toilet compartment, which stated that there was a bomb inside the aircraft. Immediately afterwards, passengers were removed from the aircraft. Checking process is going on”, as reported by ANI.
