An influencer who shared his health battles with a genetic disease that left him under three feet tall has died at the age of 33.

Colombian content creator Alejo Little, who shared his struggles with the genetic disease skeletal dysplasia to more than 4 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, died around a month after his birthday.

His death was announced by fellow influencer Carlos Feria on March 13, who said he was unable to properly say goodbye.

“Time slipped away, and I regret it,” Feria wrote on Instagram.

Little, whose real name was David Alejandro Peláez Marín, pumped out content about his illness, which affects bone development and growth, as well as videos about being bullied as a child.

In what turned out to be his last TikTok post shared on March 2, he was seen drinking out of a cup while wired to an oxygen machine.

“When you’ve already hit rock bottom but you’re tired of so much fixing things and you long to find a float on the surface that will finally save you,” he said.

Little marked his birthday on Feb 10 and said he thought it was “going to be different, but it wasn’t.”

“I only ask life to let me be myself again, to find meaning in my days again, and for my mind to be healthy so I can continue helping others despite my loneliness,” he wrote on Instagram.

The influencer boasted, “I’m 90cm tall and nothing has been too big for me.” JamPress

He marked the occasion by sharing snaps from the celebration.
