Here we take a look at Paloma Faith’s love life over the years as she announces that she is pregnant with her third child in social media post

Following her shock announcement on social media informing fans that she was pregnant with her third child, we take a look at Paloma Faith’s love life over the years.

The singer, 44, who has become even more of a fan favourite since appearing on BBC’s Celebrity Traitors, took to Instagram and proudly revealed that she was expecting her third child.

In one picture she is seen cradling her growing bump while in another she is seen laying down. She captioned the post saying “mother is mothering.”

Over the years, the Only Love Can Hurt Like This hit maker has been fairly tight-lipped when it comes to her romantic life but there have been a few names that she has decided to go public with.

Her first public romance was with Rian Haynes who is a chef from New Zealand. Rian has been described as her first love as the pair made the decision to tie the knot in 2005.

Unfortunately their marriage only lasted eight months but they finally took the plunge to divorce four years after their wedding day.

Speaking of her marriage, she previously said: “It’s quite insignificant to me because I was really young. I did it in a rush and I took it all as a bit of a joke until I was in it, and then I realised it was serious and got out of it very quickly. I think it was frivolous.”

However, Rian told the Daily Mail: “I didn’t try to change her mind. Even though we hadn’t talked about ending it, I think I felt it coming. She’d been distant – it was clear her focus was elsewhere rather than on me and our marriage.”

The next person to enter the singer’s life was Leyman Lahcine, who is also the father of both her children. The couple started their romantic journey in 2012 and welcomed their first child in 2016. Their second daughter was born in 2021 and following their split, it looks as though Paloma still has a place in his heart as he described her as the “love of his life” in an interview with Glass magazine.

Paloma has blamed the birth of their children on the breakdown of their relationship. In an interview with The Independent, she revealed: “You either grow together, adapting to one another like expandable foam and filling the gaps where it’s empty – or one person grows and the other stays the same.”

She continued: “And I think for me, becoming a mother was such a massively life-changing experience that for the first time in my life, I needed more than nothing – and the expandable foam just wasn’t there. Our relationship ended because we have those children. And I think that was worth it.”

While on Jamie Laing’s podcast she confessed that the feelings are still “raw” for her. She admitted: “I think this is ongoing navigation because we have children together,” she told the former Made in Chelsea star. The heartbreak will be forever and the navigation of our relationship changing shape will be forever, probably until we die.”

The star then dated Andrew Soar, who works as a creative director. Paloma announced their romance to the world by going Instagram official posting a picture of them with a red heart emoji.

By 2023, Paloma revealed on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 Breakfast Show that they had split. She said: “I feel emaciated and it’s because I’ve had around 700 break ups in 12 months.”

In March this year, Paloma announced she had started dating Stevie Thomas, who is a director of a music venue in Birmingham. Stevie has also had a stint on reality TV, having appeared on Shipwreck for a brief stint all the way back in 2007.

Paloma and Stevie posed for photos at Sony’s after party following the BRIT Awards, where Paloma was celebrating after handing out the Best Dance Act award to Charli XCX – who was the big winner on the night.

“Paloma and Stevie are absolutely head over heels for each other but she’s been telling people it also feels like her healthiest relationship ever. He’s 6ft6 and she loves how he towers over her,” a source told The Sun.

“It’s sexy and exciting but he’s also very in touch with his feelings and a great communicator. They are very tactile when they are around each other and it feels very special. It’s like they are kindred spirits and they’re in it for the long term.”
