Bruce Dickinson is getting the band back together.
After embarking on a solo tour from August through October this year, the legendary vocalist is returning to Iron Maiden to pick up the group’s ‘Run for Your Lives Tour’ in summer 2026 with newly-announced special guests Megadeth and Anthrax joining them on select dates.
While out and about, the heavy metal band will make their sole Tri-state stop when they drop into Harrison, NJ’s Sports Illustrated Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5.
“This whole tour has been such great fun,” Dickinson, 67, said in a press release, referring to the band’s summer ’25 run that celebrated their 50th anniversary while hitting venues all over Europe.
“I really enjoy belting out all these great old songs, and the whole band are loving playing them too! We’ve got all the big ones from that early period including ‘Hallowed,’ ‘Run to the Hills,’ ‘Trooper,’ ‘Number of the Beast,’ ‘Killers,’ ‘Powerslave,’ ‘2 Minutes’ … and some of them we haven’t played in the US for over 20 years! Plus there’s some real epics including my particular favorite ‘Rime of the Ancient Mariner’ and ‘Seventh Son’ … We are doing them all and more. I mean, who wouldn’t for a 50th birthday party!”
And, if reviews from the overseas shows are any indication, critics are just as ecstatic as Dickinson is about this career-spanning live show.
“The first night of Iron Maiden’s Run For Your Lives tour [packed] big surprises, lashings of nostalgia and a state-of-the-art new show,” Louder Sound raved about the group’s May concert in Budapest.
“For old school fans, it’s pure heavy metal mana. For younger acolytes, it’s a chance to witness some songs they may well have resigned themselves to never seeing live…it seems Iron Maiden have pulled off a rare trick: celebrating the past by stepping into a bold new future.”
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming (and some European) North American Iron Maiden shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the ‘Run for Your Lives Tour’ is Friday, Oct. 31.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.
