In an interview with The Times of India, Manav Kaul once revealed that he doesn’t see himself getting married anytime soon. He added that he loves his work and finds peace and solace in it.

Manav further added that since he loves his work so much, it won’t do justice to his wife or partner if he is not able to give them the time they need. He added that for him, love is different as she feels connected with the characters he plays and the ones he writes for his plays. He was quoted as saying:

“I am single right now and happy. I know myself and I don’t see myself getting married. This is how I always wanted my life to be. I am completely in love with my work, and I find absolute comfort and solace in it. Now, to get someone else involved in this won’t do justice to them. If you don’t give them enough time and work on a relationship, it won’t last. My idea of love is broader. I feel romantically connected with each character that I write or enact.”

Manav Kaul took a 13-year break after his debut film

Manav Kaul made his acting debut with the 2003 hit film, Jajantaram Mamantarm. After which, he took a 13-year acting break and starred in Sushant Singh Rajput’s debut film, Kai Po Che. Later, he rose to fame as an actor with immense calibre. In an interaction with TOI, Manav stated that the kind of actor he has become is due to the sabbatical. He added that he would have become a terrible person if he hadn’t taken the break, as it helped him grow.
