In a candid conversation with Filmy Gyan, Daisy addressed the buzz and shared that she is interested in joining the hit TV series. She clarified that she is not part of the series and shared that she finds Priyanka perfect for the role of ‘Naagin’. Daisy was quoted as saying:

“Agar hoga (offer) toh mana nahi karungi, because I like the show. As of now, I see Priyanka as the Naagin because it’s obviously Ekta Kapoor’s show and her decision.”

During an episode of Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar, Ektaa made a grand reveal about her ‘Naagin’. She introduced Priyanka Chahar Choudhary as the new shape-shifting serpent of Naagin 7. Ektaa mentioned that she found Priyanka during Bigg Boss 16. Soon, Priyanka made an entry in her ‘Naagin’ avatar. The TV actress revealed how she got the Naagin role offer from Ektaa Kapoor. She was quoted as saying:

“I still remember the moment on Bigg Boss 16 when Ektaa ma’am said she found her next Naagin, and to have her keep that promise and choose me for this legacy is truly an honour. I’ve always believed that some roles demand more than just performance; they test your strength, range, and spirit. Naagin is exactly that for me.”

Priyanka shared that it is a huge responsibility to take charge of a powerful universe like Naagin. She expressed her gratitude to Colors and Balaji Telefilms and called her revelation as ‘Naagin’ ‘destiny’s plan’. She was quoted as saying:

“Taking charge of the ‘Naagin’ universe is a huge responsibility, and I will do everything in my power to uphold it. To be revealed as Naagin in front of Salman sir and millions of viewers feels nothing short of destiny’s plan. I’m super grateful to Colors and Balaji Telefilms for trusting me with this throne, and for giving me a story that’s truly going down in his-story as pure serpentainment!”
