Olivia Attwood and Bradley Dack never officially got married, according to sources, who claim the pair had planned to register their wedding six weeks after it was filmed for their ITV reality show

ITV bosses are still backing golden girl Olivia Attwood, despite the star being embroiled in a ‘fakery’ row. The Love Islander, 34, has hit the headlines again after it was reported she never officially married footballer, Bradley Dack – despite the wedding being exclusively filmed for the couple’s 17-episode ITV reality show.

According to sources, Olivia, who was seen kissing her long-term friend and TOWIE co-star Pete Wicks, 37, last week following her split from Brad, 32, in January, had planned to sign the legal paperwork in Cheshire, after the lavish wedding at the five-star Bvlgari hotel in Knightsbridge in 2023. However, there is, reportedly, no official record of the marriage, with Olivia allegedly choosing not to make it legally binding as she had uncovered ‘mistruths’.

Despite the drama, Olivia is still one of the most in demand presenters on TV and ITV seem to be sticking with their girl as the reality star gets ready to jet off to South Korea to film her Price of Perfection series, reports the Mail.

It comes after sources claimed that bosses were concerned Olivia could be ‘engulfed’ by the rumours that she and Bradley were never legally married, after the time and money and advertising invested in her.

“She always acknowledged him as her husband and used his name, so there was never any need to question the matter,” a source told The Sun.

“ITV would never dream of intentionally trying to deceive their viewers and appreciate the severity of the revelation. The show now looks like a cash grab from Olivia and Bradley and makes a mockery of her fanbase.”

The Mail claims that a visit to the City of Westminster Archives Centre showed no wedding records for the couple between 2022 and 2023. Olivia had planned to complete her legal paperwork at a registry office in Cheshire, where they lived at the time.

But between their filmed wedding and the appointment dates, she discovered she had been told a “number of mistruths”. This led the Love Island star to stall proceedings, despite the couple’s 10-year relationship being genuine. Both Olivia and Bradley’s reps declined to comment when contacted by the Mirror.

It has since been reported that a number of women have accused Bradley of cheating on Olivia with them. A source told the Mail that on one night of alleged infidelity “Olivia was ringing his [Bradley’s] phone all night and couldn’t get hold of him”.

Olivia revealed in February that she and Bradley had called time on their marriage, after less than three years. Their relationship has been marred by allegations of cheating, while Olivia’s friendship with Pete was said to have caused tension between the former couple.
