Jacqueline Jossa made a heartbreaking confession during a turbulent period of her marriage with Dan Osborne, ahead of their most recent break-up which is said to be for good
Jacqueline Jossa made a heartbreaking confession about being a ‘doormat’ during a tricky time in her marriage to Dan Osborne.
The EastEnders actress, 33, and her former The Only Way Is Essex star Dan, 34, have reportedly called time on their marriage for good – nine years on from tying the knot and 13 years after first getting together.
It has been claimed their break-up is for good as the Lauren Branning actress is said to have “finally had enough”.

A source claimed to The Sun: “Everyone knows they’ve had their troubles, but after spending some time apart this year, they’ve decided to make the split permanent.” Dan is said to have moved into the home he secretly bought in 2024, while the pair were separated.
The pair’s relationship, which has seen them welcome daughters Ella, 11, and Mia, seven, has faced its fair share of highs and lows – with the couple being plagued by cheating scandals over the years.
During a tricky patch in their relationship – as it was claimed Jacqueline faced a heartbreaking time in the I’m A Celeb jungle as Myles Stephenson reportedly told her Dan had cheated on her with his ex-girlfriend Gabby Allen, which they both denied – Jacqueline made a heartbreaking confession.
Upon leaving the jungle, she said: “I’ve always been known as Lauren from EastEnders, or a doormat, or whatever you want to call it, and coming here I have actually proved myself.”
Social media users were touched by her words, with one posting at the time: “Jac just made my heart break”, while another commented: “Jacqueline is making me sad!” “She’s such a worthy winner,” remarked a third, as a fourth declared: “Jacqueline has done herself proud.”
Following her victory over runner-up Andy Whyment and third-placed Roman Kemp, the soap actress told Ant and Dec: “It was a lot harder than I expected and I didn’t expect it to be a turning point in life.
“I feel like I went in as one person and I have come out as a different person, growing in confidence and I have found who I am as a person a bit more.”
Shortly after Jacqueline’s I’m A Celebrity appearance – during which Chloe Ayling also came forward and claimed she and Natalie Nunn had a threesome with Dan in September 2018 – Dan issued a public grovelling apology to his wife. Writing on Instagram at the time, Dan said: “So after weeks, months, years of constant articles and rumours, some true, some very untrue. I want to publicly say, I know I have made some mistakes, we all do as humans, but I’ve made some that have almost cost me my family.
“I have seriously learnt from these massively, so I want to publicly apologise to my beautiful wife and my family for the mistakes I’ve made.” He added: “I am the luckiest man in the world to have what I have with Jacqueline and my three incredible children and I will spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be.”
Dan then added: “Jac, myself and our families are excited for the future, one filled with love and happiness together. We truly appreciate everyone that has supported us as a couple, we are ending this year stronger than ever.”
