Jake Paul is still feeling it on Saturday.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer took to social media to update fans after suffering a double broken jaw while getting knocked out by Anthony Joshua on Friday night.
“Just got out of surgery,” Paul wrote on X. “Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for 7 days.
“S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring.”
Paul posted his X-ray on social media shortly after he was taken down by the two-time heavyweight champ in the sixth round of their highly anticipated boxing match at Miami’s Kaseya Center, and joked about a quick-turnaround fight against Canelo Alvarez.
“Double broken jaw,” Paul wrote. “Give me Canelo in 10 days.”
Paul called his injury before he even left the venue.
“I think my jaw is broken, by the way,” said Paul as he spit blood to the floor. “It’s definitely broke. But that was a nice little ass-whooping from one of the best to ever do it.”
Despite being an overwhelming underdog, Paul lasted six rounds while fighting at a 27-pound and five-inch height disadvantage.

Joshua had high praise for Paul after the fight.
“As we saw tonight, Jake has spirit,” Joshua said. “He has some heart and I take my hat off to him.”
Paul, who dropped to 12-2 on his career with the loss, said he’ll be back in the ring soon.

“I love this s–t and I’m going to come back and get a world championship belt,” Paul told Ariel Helwani. “We will heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight.
“I’m going for the cruiserweight world title.”
