Janhvi expressed that her connection with Shikhar provides a sense of peace and safety. She said, “I can be the truest version of myself because of love. It’s given me a safe place to hear my thoughts and believe them. His presence has always provided that.”
Expanding on the comfort they share, she added, “It’s a safe place where I can be a child around him and just be a kid. There’s no one else I have more fun with.”
This isn’t the first time Janhvi has spoken about Shikhar’s significance in her life. During an appearance on Karan Johar’s talk show, she mentioned that his support extends beyond just her. She revealed that Shikhar has been a steady presence for her sister, Khushi, her father, Boney Kapoor, and the entire family.
Janhvi told Karan, “He has been there from the start as a friend. Not in a way that made me feel like he is expecting anything or he is a pushover or any of those things. He was just there in a very selfless, dignified way and in a way that I have not seen many men capable of being there for another human being.”
Shikhar Pahariya is the grandson of former Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. His mother, Smruti Shinde, is an actress, and his brother, Veer Pahariya, recently entered the film industry with the movie Sky Force. On the work front, Janhvi is reportedly filming Lag Jaa Gale alongside Tiger Shroff and Lakshya, directed by Raj Mehta.
