If a report by Mid-Day is to be believed, Jannat Zubair and her younger brother, Ayaan were on a trip to Panvel, Maharashtra, where they met with a disturbing situation including physical assault. Some reports also claimed that the duo had a few minor injuries; however, there was no update until a few moments ago, when Jannat Zubair’s team shared their first statement on the shocking incident.

Jannat Zubair’s team opens up about the incident

A few moments ago, on March 16, 2026, Jannat Zubair’s team took to her Instagram handle to share their first statement on the shocking incident that happened with her and her younger brother. In the statement, the team revealed that the reports which are making rounds online are true as the sibling duo faced physical assault and brazen chase at the highway. A part of their note can be read as:

“Hi all, We would like to update everyone that Jannat and Ayaan faced a distressing experience involving physical assault and a brazen chase incident on the highway during broad daylight yesterday.”

Further, in the note, Jannat Zubair’s team revealed that a police investigation on the same had started and they are looking into the matter. The team concluded the note by addressing the reports around their injuries. They shared that both Ayaan and Jannat are doing fine and would appreciate it if the fans could show them some love. It is worth mentioning that in the caption, the team requested privacy and asked their followers to refrain from spreading false news. The note can be read as:

“Currently, the investigation is ongoing, with the police authorities actively looking into the matter. Jannat and Ayaan are safe now. We truly appreciate your concern and are thankful for the constant support. Team Jannat Zubair.”

As soon as the post went viral on social media, Jannat and Ayaan’s fans showered love on them. While some were happy to know that they were safe, others were shocked by the incident.
