Liberty star Jonquel Jones shared that she had surgery on her leg, as seen in a video she shared Monday to her Instagram Story.
The five-time WNBA All-Star had surgery on her right ankle, sources told The Post’s Madeline Kenney.
Jones sprained her right ankle twice this past season, which caused her to miss a month of action.
“Surgery done,” the 2021 WNBA MVP wrote. “Officially Day 1 of recovery.”
Jones, who showed her father sitting at her bedside in the clip, did not elaborate on her surgery.
The 31-year-old Bahamian player sprained her right ankle in the Liberty’s 86-78 win over the Washington Mystics on June 5 — and then re-aggravated the injury during a 89-81 loss to the Mercury on June 19.
The news comes a month after the defending champions were eliminated by the Mercury in the first round of the playoffs.
Jones had three points, eight rebonds and four assists in the Liberty’s 79-73 season-ending loss to Phoenix in Game 3 on Sept. 19.
Four days later, the Liberty announced they had fired head coach Sandy Brondello, and the coaching search remains ongoing.
Jones finished the regular season averaging 13.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 blocked shots per game.
Jones is set to become a free agent this offseason, along with Liberty co-stars Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu and nearly every veteran player in the WNBA.
“I have the utmost confidence that they want to be back with us,” Liberty general manager Jonathan Kolb said on Sept. 25 of the trio.
