The Big Brother winner reportedly wants nothing more than a ‘stable’ and ‘normal’ life in the West Country and has moved into a caravan ahead of her new ITV series.

Despite winning Big Brother and bagging a role on This Morning, Josie Gibson just wants a “normal life” and would “happily” stay living in a caravan forever, it has been claimed. She moved into a mobile home while her house is being done up.

Josie won Big Brother in 2010 and has gone on to be a regular segment presenter for This Morning, a Loose Women panellist and appear on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where she finished in fourth place. She will soon appear on her own TV show with ITV called Josie Gibson’s Big Country Build, where she will renovate her £1million Somerset mansion.

According to The Sun, a source has said that Jodie “dreams” of a quiet life. The source said all of her neighbours in the West Country have wondered “why she stayed put” when she could “have the life most of us can only dream of”. They said: “She laughs it off and always says this is the life she dreams of.”

They added that she “doesn’t care” about fame and instead “wants to settle down with a nice man” and create a “stable family life” for her and her seven year old son Reggie. The star is currently single – she was rumoured to be in a new romance with TikTok star Sam Wolfenden after the two were seen together at the Cheltenham Festival but he is engaged to his childhood sweetheart Grace.

Even though Josie is thought to want to shy away from the limelight, she will be in her own TV show soon. In her new ITV series, she and her brothers, Charlie and Josh, and her cousin Tom will join a team of locals to renovate her home.

While she does it up, she has moved into a caravan. The source said that Josie would “happily live in a caravan forever”. They explained that she is “working towards the life she’s always dreamed of”, which includes a “home filled with love” and a “man she can truly rely on”.

In a recent appearance on Good Morning Britain, she joked that she was “skint” because of the house renovations. She said: “I’ve actually roped the family in. They say never to work with family or animals, and I’ve done just that.”

She added that emotionally, she had struggled because of the work. “To say my stress levels are up here… [the family] are great, they are amazing, but there are a lot of challenges, let’s say. I’ve had a lot of sleepless nights.”

The source told The Sun that Josie is continuing to work in television “to secure a future for her and Reggie” and that though she does not love the fame, “she’s not silly enough to turn the money down”.
