The insider explained that the actress is feeling stressed by the situation and would have preferred to move on from the controversy. However, it does not mean that she has withdrawn her support from her husband. In the source’s words:

“There’s a reason they pushed back on the footage being released. It is stressful, and she would prefer to move past it. It obviously doesn’t portray him in the best light. There have been some challenging moments lately, and she’s focused on moving forward.”

Therefore, she has a balanced response to the matter. Further, the source explained that Jessica is presently focusing on her family life and maintaining stability for her kids around the outside noise. Although the situation has created more tension and the couple has been facing “challenging moments lately,” the actress has chosen to move forward rather than sit over the controversy. Sharing her views, the insider stated:

“She’s the happiest when she’s able to focus on family life, along with her work, when she chooses to take on projects. She’s supportive of Justin, but she’s also not afraid to express when she’s disappointed in certain decisions. This was one of those moments.”

The DWI video controversy stems from Justin Timberlake’s arrest in June 2024 in Sag Harbor, New York. During that time, he was charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicating substance and committed minor traffic violations. Although he eventually reached a plea deal for a lesser charge, the case had remained relatively low-key. But the recent release of police bodycam footage of the scene has brought the matter back to light. In fact, the video shows the singer undergoing sobriety tests and interacting with officers. Earlier, he tried to stop the release of the footage due to privacy concerns, but later agreed to another version.
