Among those reacting to the post was Phillipa Lepley, the couture designer who has created several dresses over the years for Kate, who posted several clapping emojis.

It was revealed last July that Natasha had left her role with the Prince and Princess of Wales. She was part of their tight inner circle and was by her side at St Mary’s Hospital to assist by handing over an outfit and baby seat shortly before the birth of Prince George in 2013.

She was also seen driving away from the London Clinic in a car full of flowers after Kate was discharged from hospital following her major abdominal surgery in January 2024.

Natasha is credited with helping Kate emerge as a prominent wearer of designers Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham. The resulting ” Kate Middleton Effect” became a fashion phenomenon, with items she ended up wearing selling out shortly afterwards.

In a daring first for a royal, she also ended up persuading William to wear a traditional sherwani to a 2019 reception in Pakistan. She also worked alongside Kate to upscale several of her dresses in a bid to become environmentally conscious, which led to her renting a dress for the Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2022.

At the time it was revealed she was leaving her royal post, PEOPLE reported that it understood that the Prince and Princess of Wales wished Natasha the best in her new venture.
