Following Katie and Lee’s quickie wedding, some of his former girlfriends have spoken out – with one claiming her ex had popped the question in exactly the same way he did to Katie, while another alleged she’d been scammed
Katie Price has appeared to hit back at her new husband’s exes after they warned her to “run for the hills”. The former glamour model married Dubai businessman Lee Andrews in a surprise quickie wedding last month, after knowing him for just a week. Darryl Rees, a part time DJ, was the only person in attendance and officiated the wedding at One and Only Royal Mirage, a hotel on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah Island.
Following the ceremony, Lee’s former girlfriends spoke out – with one claiming her ex had popped the question in exactly the same way he did to Katie, and another alleging she’d been scammed. But on Tuesday evening, Katie made it very clear where her loyalties lie.

The mum of five reshared a quote on her Instagram which read: ‘Be careful what you hear about a female. Rumours either came from a male that can’t have her or a female that can’t compete with her.’
Lee’s ex, Alana Percival, claimed her proposal was identical to the way in which Lee popped the question to Katie at the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab in Dubai. She also alleged he was on an escort website, which he denied. Alana issued a warning to Katie on her Instagram page, writing: “Women look after women. I thought it was all a lie too until I had to find out the hard way… you want proof of everything, it’s waiting for you…” Another one of Lee’s former lovers, Crystal Janke, claimed she had been scammed by her ex – which he also denied.
Earlier this week, Katie snapped at the “snakes” who are trying to derail her new marriage. A number of people have made strong allegations about the businessman, 45, following his whirlwind marriage to the former glamour model, 47.
But as the pair continue to share details of their quick-fire romance, Katie has praised her new man and took aim at those in their way. In a Valentine’s Day post shared on Instagram, Katie said: “@Wesleeeandrews has given me more security more respect and proven that everything that’s been said about him has been absolute BS by bitter people and snakes in all areas.”
Lee has faced a number of accusations since news of their nuptials. This includes being in jail previously and also claims of a travel ban – which he firmly denies. He continues to share posts of his new life with Katie, including the clip she reshared.
And now Lee has shared an image on Instagram of the couple’s dream home. The lavish property in the image is split over four floors. And Lee claims there will be enough space for all the family as well as friends. According to his upload, the guest space will be on the top floor, with Lee and Katie and the kids on the next level. On the first floor is a separate space for both sets of parents.
The duo both had his and hers cars in the porch underneath. It’s not known if the development is the property that Katie had hinted at in earlier posts. She had allegedly put down a deposit on a house in Dubai and signed a contract. Last week, claims suggested Katie had found a property she likes in Dubai and has started the proceedings to buy it.
A source told the Sun that the star had “put money down” and that “the contract is signed”. They claimed: “She is really excited and thinks she is going to have her happy ending with Lee. But those close to Katie fear this could be the start of a potential scam. She was only supposed to be in Dubai for two days, but she’s still not returned home.”
They went on to say that Katie’s brash move to up sticks so soon is “making her closest friends and family anxious”. A source recently told the Mirror Katie’s move will see her try to reinvent herself. “She would love a reality show in Dubai a bit like what she had with Pete,” the insider told us. “That’s what she wants with this new bloke.”
They went on: “She loves the life out there. Everything is brand new, glitzy, glamorous, the nightlife is amazing. So she’s going to enjoy that. She has bills and debts to pay so he’s making a desperate attempt to make money quickly and thinks a reality show is it. She made a lot of money back in the day and thinks she can do it again.”
