Katie Price has been pictured at the airport heading off to Dubai to reunite with her self-proclaimed millionaire husband Lee Andrews, ignoring travel advice

Katie Price has been photographed grinning as she was spotted at the airport before catching a flight to Dubai to reunite with her husband Lee Andrews.

The former glamour model, 47, couldn’t contain her excitement as she was pictured at the Emirates check-in desk dropping off a large suitcase before making her way to security. Katie’s trip to the UAE is her third this year – and defies warnings and advice shared by both the government over the safety in Dubai and her concerned family and friends over the ‘red flags’ highlighted about her hubby.

Dubai is currently being targeted by Iran in the midst of the war in the Middle East, with missiles and drones being directed at the city. The UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office is currently warning against all but essential travel to the UAE.

Meanwhile, Katie has been on the receiving end of floods of concern over her whirlwind marriage to Lee, who is a self-proclaimed millionaire. Katie shocked fans, friends and even family in January as she announced she had got engaged in Dubai. She soon revealed the identity of her beau before the pair tied the knot days later.

In the wake of Katie’s news, fans spoke out to warn the former glamour model as a string of the outlandish online claims Lee had made about himself were quickly proven as untrue. Lee’s former girlfriends spoke out with Alana Percival telling Katie to ‘run for the hills’ as she revealed Lee had proposed to her in the identical manner 16 weeks before popping the question to Katie.

Despite the warnings, and Katie’s family’s upset over her quickie wedding, Katie has doubled down on her marriage to Lee – insisting he isn’t a conman and has seen proof of his wealth. Speaking on Good Morning Britain earlier this week, Katie said: “With Lee, it’s different and that’s why it works. Number one, he lives in Dubai. I want to have time for me, he lives in Dubai, when I’ve got the kids, I’ve got the kids, I can do my work. He hasn’t met the family, hasn’t met the kids, but they’ve been on FaceTime. They’ve all met him on FaceTime. But it’s never enough. I won’t be introducing him to the kids yet because I want to get to know him myself. It just felt right, so why not get married?”

Meanwhile Lee, who got a tattoo dedicated to Katie’s son Harvey despite never meeting him, confused fans recently as he claimed he was set to travel to the UK – despite claims he is banned from travelling outside of Dubai, which he has denied. Last week, Lee filmed himself trying on outfits to wear back in the UK.

As he posed in a grey tracksuit in a video posted on his Instagram story, he said: “All grey sweats, ready for the UK love it, can’t beat it, see you soon baby.” However, he is yet to jet to the UK since making the video and instead Katie has been snapped travelling to the UAE.

Ahead of Katie’s reunion with her husband, Lee teased that he was at the airport as he shared a black and white video of a car parked in a car park and wrote “Airport” on top.
