Katie Price has shared a cryptic post about motherhood, admitting that she’s focusing on life as a single mum after sharing that she had hit ‘rock bottom’ in life

Katie Price has shared a post about hitting “rock bottom” as a single mum. The former glamour model, who never shies away from sharing an insight into her life, shared a post on Instagram. Price, 47, is mum to five children, including eldest son Harvey Price, as well as Junior and Princess Andre, whom she shares with former husband Peter Andre.

On Friday, while spending time in Dubai with her fourth husband, Lee Andrews, Katie reshared a quote reading: “As a single mom… You probably didn’t have a child with someone & expected to be a single mom. You probably stayed too long in a relationship, wanting so badly to make it work for the sake of your family & lost yourself trying to fix issues that weren’t yours to fix.

“You probably know what it’s like being at rock bottom. You probably know what it’s like taking your kids by the hand & putting your world back together. You probably know what its like to put your feelings to the side in order to put your children’s feelings first.”

The post went on to add: “You probably don’t take for granted the peace you have in your home now. You probably don’t always know how amazingly strong you are every single day. Eyes Forward.”

Katie’s post comes just hours after she said she “can’t be away” from Lee, jetting out to Dubai despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has seen the United Arab Emirates hit by Iranian missiles.

Speaking in a Facebook Reel, she said: “You know the saying – anyone would move mountains to be with the one they love? I am an example of that. I would get on an empty flight – technically where there’s a war going on – for love. So anyone who has got a long-distance relationship, they can work, although, I can’t be apart from Lee and he can’t be apart from me so we make it work to be together all the time.”

Despite Katie’s post, some questioned why Katie had jetted out to an active conflict zone, with one writing: “Why doesn’t he ever come here can I ask x”. Another added: “No he should come to you !!!! What kind of man would make you fly to Dubai says it all”.

A third said: “So how many times has he visited you in the UK then? Not much mountain moving on his side”. Currently, the Foreign Office advises against “all but essential” travel to the United Arab Emirates. Currently, flights to and from Dubai from the United Kingdom are limited, with British Airways grounding all flights until the summer.

However, one of the two flag carriers of the UAE is continuing to operate flights to the region. Despite this, Katie says she feels “safe” in the region, even though she receives emergency alerts on her phone about the ongoing conflict.

“Good morning everybody, I’m here in Dubai,” she said, adding: “I’m so happy I’m here, so happy I’m here with Lee. In fact, he’s doing me breakfast in bed. Scrambled eggs and creme frech. I’m so content and so happy. There was a few little alarms last night on the phone, little warnings about… Warnings.

“But I never heard anything, this morning we did, got a warning, it wasn’t anywhere near us and wasn’t scared one little bit. I just feel safe here, I’m in my safe place with Lee and over the moon that I’m here.”
