Katie Price has said she will not be moving to Dubai, despite claims her husband Lee Andrews bought a £36million home “in cash”. The former glamour model married Lee in January, just days after meeting him.
Since marrying Lee, Katie has been travelling between the UK and Dubai to see him and some have wondered if he will be moving out there for good, despite her children and 17 pets living in the UK. However, in a since deleted YouTube video, Katie insisted she would not be leaving the UK permanently.
She said: “I don’t know why people think I’m moving to Dubai. My family’s here. The husband is there, but the husband come here and I can go to Dubai when I can.”

This comes weeks after Katie claimed Lee had bought a £36million home “in cash”. Speaking to The Sun after Lee faced allegations of being a fraud, Katie said he was no “con man”. To prove his wealth, Katie shared a document that the publication said was proof of purchase for a new property worth £36million home in Dubai, paid for with cash.
Katie had previously seemed to suggest she was thinking about moving to Dubai more permanently, or at least travel there on a regular basis, by opening up to fans about her uncertainty about having so many pets when she was not at home so much. In another YouTube vlog, she told audiences: “I’ve got to sort out what I’m going to do with the animals because obviously Lee’s in Dubai and I’m going to keep going to Dubai and back.
“I’ve got 12 animals in the house. I know I like things excessive like big cars, big boobs, big bum, lots of animals, horses, this, that. I think I need to re-evaluate my life a little bit and just have a little think about everything.”
She then seemed to wonder if she should get rid of some of her pets, saying: “Because, yeah do I need so many animals? You know you gotta be there, all the time for them. Do I need….anyway everything I do is excessive, we all know that. You know that, I know that. So, I am gonna have to re-evaluate things in my life.”
Fans slammed the star, who later remembered that she has 17 pets rather than 12, as a “disgrace” for her words. “You shouldn’t be allowed to have pets you have a record of neglect and cruelty,” a fan said. Another added: “The way you casually say you don’t need so many animals .. you’re a disgrace who just thinks about yourself.”
Katie’s words also came after she and her sister released an episode of their podcast that left some fans concerned. Since Katie got married, her family have been said to be concerned for the star. During the podcast, when Katie referenced her recent marriage to being something out of Married At First Sight her sister Sophie managed a simple ‘hmm’ before calling her sister a “k***head”.
Katie laughed as she said she got to know her husband two weeks before, with Sophie looking off screen as she shook her head. “I have no comment from me. No comment from me on that,” she said flatly.
As they continued to discuss the wedding and Katie’s dress, the former glamour model said she could change “the other bit”, before Sophie jumped in and said “Change the other bit? You mean the husband?”
“Not the husband,” Katie clarified and Sophie simply said, “Oh god.” Viewers watching the clip were quick to point out signs of a struggle between Katie and Sophie. One noted: “No emotional intelligence recognising the hurt she’s causing her loved ones – sad to watch.”
“Oh Sophie does look so sad. I know Kate probably doesn’t see it’s all care and worry, she is just happy in her bubble. But it’s heartbreaking especially after all the work Kate did on herself,” another added.
