Katie Price‘s husband, Lee Andrews, has hit back at claims he has ‘brainwashed’ her with an Instagram post. After friends of the former glamour model said they “strongly believe” Lee was “brainwashing” his new wife, the businessman shared a post on social media that seemed to be a dig at this statement.
Lee shared a pic of him and Katie to his stories and fumed: “How can you love bomb your wife?” in the caption. Love bombing is a form of psychological manipulation where a person overwhelms someone else with excessive affection. It is often considered a grooming technique as it is often used to create intense attachment and establish control.

Lee’s words came after friends told the Daily Mail that they feared for Katie in her new relationship. “She’s choosing to believe what she wants. We keep telling her he’s no good. We strongly believe Lee is brainwashing her. But Katie has fallen for him hook, line and sinker. She is being so gullible and thinks she can take the kids out there and live with him,” one said.
They also pointed out that she keeps “changing her plan” to return to England and that they are “worried” about her but that their fears are falling on deaf ears. Another friend said Lee “has the charm of a gnat” while a third declared “he’s as thick as s***”.
Lee and Katie’s relationship has been a whirlwind. Having met him in January, Katie debuted her new beau and their engagement at the same time that month. This came only weeks after she confirmed her split from JJ Slater. The two married days later and things took another lurch forwards this week, when Katie shocked fans again by announcing she was having a baby with Lee.
After Lee’s former girlfriends expressed concern for Katie as well, the star took to Instagram with a scathing statement. She said: “I know rejection doesn’t seem feel nice and I’m married to @wesleeandrews the man you want and will never have again.
“Your constant lies and put downs is clearly showing how bitter you are, go live your life little girl. I know the truth and your now embarrassing yourself go and have the little respect for yourself that’s left.
“I know all about you and who you are at least I’m the real woman he has found and deserves, but please just enjoy watching us build out empire as I’m having his child I’ll enjoy the ride and big d**k energy now that I’m in the saddle, he’s the most beautiful human I know who never took anything from you I’m the real feminine women he deserves not the male version you are. Now disappear back under that bridge you irrelevant little troll.”
Lee added feul to the pregnancy rumours by posting AI images of a woman holding a baby bump and a “dream house” which included a child’s bedroom. However a spokesperson for Katie has since confirmed that she is not actually pregnant.
