Kerry Katona suffered a miscarriage after falling pregnant with boyfriend Paolo Margaglione on Celebs Go Dating. The Atomic Kitten star, 45, met the personal trainer, 33, on set of the popular Channel 4 show in April 2025. The couple moved in together two months later.
Kerry is mum to Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with Brian McFadden, Heidi, 18, and Max, 17 with Mark Croft, and Dylan-Jorge, 10, with George Kay, while Paolo has two daughters, Milani and Nola, from a previous relationship.

Paolo revealed that Kerry was “unknowingly pregnant” during the show’s finale. Speaking to Paul Brunson on his We Need To Talk podcast, Paolo explained: “So Kerry was, unknowingly pregnant at the finale of Celebs Go Dating… I found out in the morning. I could smell it on her, like, weird. I said, ‘You’re pregnant’”.
Kerry said: “I kept getting these hormonal spots. And we did a test in the night and it said no and I said I’ll do it early morning.
“And so we had an apartment at the hotel. I got up early, I’ll go do my meditation so I wont wake him up and I peed on the stick. This is an exclusive, I’ve not gone public with this.
“Not told anybody this part from Anna. Don’t get jealous. And nothing came up. So I went to do meditation, I’m just gonna pop this spot, I went back and went [looks at pregnancy test] no, no, no, no way. I ran and woke him up. Seven years I never fell pregnant.”
Kerry said the thought of having an abortion “killed her”, especially because she felt like the pregnancy “was made from love”. But she sadly suffered a miscarriage.
The couple tried for a baby again and then miscarried again at four weeks. Kerry said: “I didn’t realise how much I wanted it then.”
Kerry has also spoken about a previous miscarriage in 2022 which happened around 2015 in the wake of her ex-husband George Kay’s death. Writing in memoir, Kerry Katona: Whole Again, Kerry shared that she fell pregnant from a ‘rebound fling’.
Kerry also opened up about her recent health scare which saw her admitted to hospital. She said: “They said it’s colitis. I’ve never even heard of it. But it was horrendous, I thought I was in labour. Paolo wasn’t in, he was at work, I had to ring an ambulance. It was the night before we were meant to do our OK! Shoot together.
“I was getting my extensions done, it’s night time. I’m like, I don’t feel right and I have regular bowel movements, have my coffee in the morning, go to the toilet, that’s my routine before I start meditating, just so you all know there’s nothing else more I can share. That’s it.
“And I was literally just on the toilet constantly and at the point that I was screaming when I say I was screaming the house down with pain.
“The ambulance came and gave me morphine and I had to have a CT scan and they said I had something called colitis… But I’ve had no problems since.”
