Kerry Katona is “genuinely concerned” about Britney Spears and thinks that it’s all starting to “make sense” why the pop star’s controversial conservatorship, which was reversed in 2021, was put in place
Kerry Katona has admitted that she is “genuinely concerned” about Britney Spears. The pop star, 44, returned to Instagram in recent days where she posted a provocative video of herself dancing round and exposed herself.
Following a breakdown in 2007, Britney was placed in a conservatorship that gave her immediate family control of her multimillion dollar fortune, and various aspects of her life, but the arrangement was reversed in November 2021.
Having seen her recent social media activity, Kerry, who balances her own showbiz career with selling racy images of herself to subscribers on OnlyFans, has shared her worries for the Baby One More Time songstress and claimed that she can now understand why Britney’s conservatorship had been put in place to begin with.

Writing in her new! magazine column, she said: “I’m so worried about Britney Spears. She returned to Instagram recently with one of her typical posts and, if she’s gonna do stuff like that – she might as well set up an OnlyFans account. It’s bad!
“To me, it’s all kind of making sense why this conservatorship was in place. It’s so bizarre. Her teeth as well, they’re not the same anymore! How? Why? I am genuinely concerned about her wellbeing and it is so, so sad to see. “
Kerry shot to fame as a pop singer herself as part of the pop trio Atomic Kitten, and recalled when she went through her own personal struggles, she was likened to Britney at the time but managed to overcome her challenges.

She said: “I have an OnlyFans account, for over 18s. My Instagram is very PG, very family-orientated. I was in the same era as Britney when she shaved her head. I was going through my own meltdown and I was nicknamed the British version of Britney Spears. I got through it, though.
The former I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star also noticed that Melanie Blatt, who was in 90s girl group All Saints, had been speaking out about the tricky relationship she had with her bandmates back then and whilst Kerry, who was in Atomic Kitten with Natasha Hamilton and Liz McClarnon, had happy memories with her own co-stars, she didn’t really enjoy that time either.
She said: “Melanie Blatt’s been making some really interesting points about her time with All Saints in the 90s, noting that she had a “difficult relationship” with her bandmates. For me, I’ve not got a bad word to say about my Atomic Kitten bandmates.
“I was part of the band when we were nobodies, but it turned into The Kerry Katona Show a bit and that was one of the reasons I left. I didn’t enjoy that time. I don’t think all press is good press, and it triggers me.
“But I am in such a good place now! I just don’t want that drama in my life right now, and I didn’t like that kind of attention in Atomic Kitten.
