All’s Fair is coming to Disney Plus on November 4
Reality star Kim Kardashian has admitted that her own divorce lawyer has helped shape a brand new law drama that’s coming to screens soon.
The reality star is set to star in All’s Fair on Disney Plus and Hulu next month alongside a star studded cast including Glenn Close.
The brand new series, set to span across ten episodes, will follow a team of female divorce attorneys as they open their own practice in a bid to leave a male dominated firm behind.
Set to premier on November 4, Disney Plus teases: “A team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own powerhouse practice.
“Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks.
“In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game—they change it.”
Speaking at a press conference for All’s Fair, Kim Kardashian has revealed the inspiration behind the legal drama series – created by Ryan Murphy as well as Joe Baken and Jon Robin Baitz.
She said: “I think we’ve mentioned that we consulted with Laura Wasser, who’s an amazing family law attorney and took from her pool of stories, obviously anonymously, but her father was an attorney.
“Laura was my attorney on two of my divorces. Her father was an amazing family law divorce attorney who was actually my mom’s attorney in her divorce with my dad.
“So, she has grown up like for years and years hearing stories of crazy situations and in family law.”
The star added: “It’s not easy but just consulting with someone that has such a big variety of stories that we can pull from. Each episode, we sit and we consult a case and help out someone that really is in need of our help.
“So, I think just through personal experiences, but more consulting with one of the best at what she does was really helpful for our show.”
Kim Kardashian has been divorced three times, with the most recent time being in 2022 when her marriage to Kanye West came to an end.
