Jose Alvarado is coming home.
The Knicks acquired the 27-year-old guard — a Brooklyn native — from the Pelicans on Thursday, adding depth at the trade deadline.
A star at Christ the King, Alvarado averaged 7.9 points per game with 3.1 assists and 2.8 rebounds over 41 appearances off the bench for New Orleans this season.
The Knicks sent Dalen Terry — acquired on Wednesday night from the Bulls for Guerschon Yabusele — to the Pelicans, along with a pair of second-round picks to complete the deal.
The NBA trade deadline hits a 3 p.m. on Thursday.
