She recalled going on a vacation to Kullu Manali with her pals during her break from professional commitments.

“I got a break after a long time and so went out of town with friends. Karan came to Kullu Manali to join us, and that was a big surprise. Karan doesn’t do that kind of a thing too often. I’m usually taken for granted, so it was really nice. I woke up one morning to find him standing there. He drove all night from Punjab to meet me.”

The actress clarified that there was no major fight; rather, they simply “couldn’t take care of the relationship” and naturally transitioned into friendship. In an interview with TOI, Kritika shared:

“There is no definite reason for my split with Karan. There was no fight. Both of us got very busy with our new shows, and this took a toll on our relationship. It is really sad that we couldn’t take care of our relationship. There was an emotional attachment; we were together 24/7, but he never proposed to me, and I am glad he didn’t.”
