Prior to trying the escape the location earlier this month, Laura she shared an adorable moment that she says she will be able to cherish. The clip was posted to her Instagram Stories as she played with her daughter Bonnie in her sister’s garden.
Laura’s two-year-old daughter was seen smiling and laughing without a care in the world as she was surrounded by pool toys. Captioning the video, Laura said: “Ventured outside to my sister’s garden for half an hour before we leave. Appreciate this moment so much had to share.”
Just hours before reports of the explosions, Laura had revealed she and Bonnie were at Glasgow Airport waiting to board their flight to the UAE for a family getaway. She then posted a sweet video of her daughter taking a drink of milk while on the plane.
However, things quickly took a turn. Thankfully for Laura, she was able to board a flight with her daughter and return to Scotland.

She wrote: “The airport was quiet as expected. People were so helpful, I felt a bit teary. Everyone on board is very quiet. I assume on edge like me.”
She continued: “My dad’s favourite song just came on so I’m feeling positive. Thank you to the UAE government for protecting us and for continuing to protect my friends and family. I will always be proud to have been an ex-pat.”
