Laura Anderson had been planning a relaxing family trip to Dubai but has been forced to flee the area after missile attacks, but she still manage to share a sweet moment with her daughter

Former Love Island star Laura Anderson shared a sweet moment in Dubai with her daughter as she got ready to flee the city amid the ongoing conflict. The reality TV star, 36, flew out to the UAE shortly before the missile attacks were reported.

And now, as she gets set to attempt return home to Scotland, she shared an adorable moment that she says she will be able to cherish. She posted to her Instagram Stories as she played with her daughter Bonnie in her sister’s garden.

The tot, two, is seen smiling and laughing without a care in the world as she is surrounded by pool toys. She is playing with a light multicoloured ball, blissfully unaware of what is going on.

Laura captioned the video: “Ventured outside to my sister’s garden for half an hour before we leave. Appreciate this moment so much had to share.”

It came moments after she revealed the pair were able to get a flight out of the location. In a post, she said she didn’t want to “jinx” things, but offered advice to others in her situation.

“Bonnie and I are hoping to get home today,” she wrote. After explaining people should contact their flight organisers if they are struggling, she went on: “We obviously have been lucky ours is going ahead so far and you are running the risk of another cancellation but for us it was worth it.”

In the wake of the attacks, as Laura tried to settle in, she told her followers: “Horrendous situation Bonnie & I are fine” followed by a white heart emoji.

Just hours before reports of the explosions, Laura had uploaded a snap of her and Bonnie at Glasgow Airport waiting to board their flight to the UAE. She then posted a sweet video of her daughter taking a drink of milk while on the plane.

However, shortly after, the dream trip turned into a nightmare. Her posts came as Donald Trump announced the US had launched ‘major combat operations’ in Iran while Israel‘s defence minister said the country had launched a ‘preventative attack’ against Iran to “remove threats”. Iran has since retaliated with striking Israel and US military targets across the Middle East.

Explosions were reported in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with missiles also targeting a US naval base in Qatar among other targets across the region as Iran retaliate to strikes from the US. The Foreign Office urged UK nationals to take shelter.
