Celine Dion is returning to the stage for a special residency at the iconic Paris La Défense Arena. The much-loved singer shocked the world when she announced her returning to live music following her health diagnosis.
The singer was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome four years ago, a neurological disorder which causes painful and uncontrollable muscle spasms and rigidity.
However, she will be back on the stage this September for a string of dates. Speaking about her decision, she said: “Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support.
“This year, I’m getting the best birthday gift of my life…I’m getting the chance to see you, to perform for you once again in Paris, beginning in September! I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously a little nervous, but most of all, I’m grateful to all of YOU! I love you all and I’ll see you soon!”

Fans report problems
On Twitter, fans have reported they are struggling to get tickets even with successful codes.
One fan wrote: “Anyone else having the same issue accessing Celine Dion presale via FNAC?” alongside a screenshot of the website saying: “Unfortunately your request was not successful. We invite you to broaden your search or selection.”
In the comments, other fans said they were struggling with the same screen.

The arena presale will follow on Thursday at 10am CEST and then the general sale will follow on Friday at 10am CEST. Demand is expected to be high for the tickets, with a limit of six tickets per person.

How to get presale tickets
Artist pre-sale is set to begin Tuesday, April 7 at 10:00 CEST. Fans can register for access to the pre-sale through Fair AXS on celinedion.com until Thursday, April 2 at 19:00 CEST.
Her website reads: “Fair AXS is designed so that eligible registrations are considered equally, with fans selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets. Fans will be notified via email regarding their selection status, and registering does not guarantee tickets.”
