Arielle Kebbel plays Belle Skinner, a former undercover specialist who is now working with the US Marshals.
Marshals fans are only just remembering where they have seen Arielle Kebbel before.
Marshals has just started airing on CBS and Paramount Plus, and the Yellowstone sequel sees Luke Grimes reprise his role as Kayce Dutton. The former Navy SEAL joins a specialised group of US Marshals tasked with protecting Montana.
In the series, Yellowstone’s Kayce met Belle Skinner, a former undercover specialist with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives who was new to the unit. She was also a very talented horse rider and Kayce discovered she came from a well-known family of cutting horse breeders.
Skinner asked Kayce to keep this a secret, as she implies that her past and her family name are things she would rather keep private. Actress Arielle Kebbel told Us Weekly: “We pull the layers back very slowly with Belle and she relates to Kayce because they’re both the local folks from Montana.
“Folks out there have a different way of doing things. We learn that she also comes from a very wealthy family — and with that comes a lot of secrets and responsibility.”
Fans are keen to find out more about the actress and here is all you need to know about her life and previous roles.
Arielle Kebbel is a 41-year-old actress and model, who was born in Winter Park, Florida. Her mother, Sheri, owns a production company.
Before pursuing a career in acting, she was a full-time model and was the first runner-up at the 2002 Miss Florida Teen USA beauty pageant. The star was trained at the Lisa Maile Image, Modeling & Acting School, Florida.
She has since appeared in a number of magazines including Men’s Health and FHM. Within the first week of moving to LA, she successfully auditioned for her first major role playing Lindsay Lister in Gilmore Girls.
She continued to have a recurring role throughout the show’s third, fourth and fifth seasons. Fans will also recognise her as Lexi Branson in The Vampire Diaries and Paige in Life Unexpected.
Her other big roles were as Vanessa Shaw in 90210, Tracy Legette in Ballers and Lucy Donato in 9-1-1. As for her film roles, she starred alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar and Teresa Palmer in The Grudge 2, playing schoolgirl Allison Flemming.
As for her personal life, she is good friends with actress Torrey DeVitto, who too was raised in Winter Park. The actress also has a real-life passion for horses, first learning to ride at the age of five.
She is also passionate about advocating against the round-ups of wild horses, many of whom are sold for slaughter. Interestingly, the actress was also in a relationship with her The Vampire Diaries co-star, Zach Roerig.
She announced the relationship in April 2025, after footage from a fan convention for the series showed Roerig surprising Kebbel with flowers before the couple shared a kiss.
Before announcing their relationship, Kebbel and Roerig reconnected while filming Hallmark’s 2023 movie Love in the Great Smoky Mountains: A National Park Romance, where they played love interests.
Roerig, 41, is also known for his roles as Casey Hughes in As the World Turns and Hunter Atwood in One Life to Live. He has a daughter who was born in January 2011. Sadly the pair broke up in February 2026, with the actress telling Kaitlyn Bristowe on her Off the Vine podcast that she hasn’t “been in a relationship in quite some time.”
When asked whether she should receive condolences or a celebration after the split, she said: “I’ve had this conversation with many girlfriends going through either a breakup or a divorce and some is ‘I’m sorry’ because there is so much love and grief there, and others are ‘congratulations’ because it’s the hardest best thing you could do for yourself. So, I actually do understand both.”
Marshals airs on Sunday nights on CBS in the US, and on Mondays on Paramount Plus in the UK.
