Movie producer, Madhu Mantena and his wife, author and wellness expert, Ira Trivedi, are on cloud nine. This is because on March 22, 2026, the couple announced that they had been blessed with a baby boy. This marks a new chapter in the couple’s lives. For the unversed, Madhu Mantena is the ex-husband of fashion designer, Masaba Gupta. The ex-couple had married in 2015 and got separated amicably in 2019.

In his post, Madhu Mantena thanked Lord Krishna for blessing him with a baby boy. Well, a while back, Madhu Mantena took to his Instagram handle to announce the arrival of his baby boy. He shared a picture of baby feet and thanked Lord Krishna for the divine blessing. Madhu Mantena expressed gratitude as he and Ira stepped into parenthood. The producer also revealed that his son’s birth coincided with the festive seasons of Navratri and Eid. His note read:

“Thank you Krishna for this divine blessing, for filling our lives with love and light. Ira and I welcomed our baby yesterday during the sacred days of Navratri, on Eid.”

In January 2026, the couple shared stills from their maternity photoshoot on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Netizens showered the couple with congratulatory messages. A user wrote, “This is so special to welcome the baby during Navratri and Eid.” Another user penned, “Massive Congratulations Madhu! Such joy, and yes, this is a special blessing. All the best for the beautiful years ahead.” A third user wrote, “Congratulations, Madhu. To both you and Ira. Lots & lots of love.”

Ghajini producer, Madhu Mantena, had separated from Masaba in 2019. Both of them moved on in their lives professionally and personally. It was journalist, Vickey Lalwani, who reportedly broke the news of the couple being blessed with a baby boy in the wee hours of March 21, 2026. The report stated that both the baby and the mother were doing well. It read:

“Madhu Mantena was biting his nails in his Juhu office since the past 15 days as his wife Ira Trivedi, who he married in 2023, was supposed to deliver their first child in March. It has finally happened. In the wee hours of today, Ira delivered a baby boy. Goes without saying that Madhu and Ira are on cloud nine. Both the mother and the baby are doing fine.”

Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Madhu Mantena’s wife, Ira Trivedi, revealed that she has known her husband for close to a decade and feels blessed to have found him again. Ira had revealed that her parents wanted her to settle down in marriage with a builder-industrialist. The pressure was so high that they were even arranging her meetings with a few of them. Ira revealed:

“I met one of them and found him extremely boring. It was then that Madhu and I happened to meet through a common connection in Delhi. Post that, I invited him to a couple of my book launches and he even came to Delhi on a few occasions other than those launches.”

When Madhu Mantena had proposed Ira Trivedi’s marriage, she was taken aback. She found he was rushing despite them being in a relationship. She had turned him down due to his background and cultural differences. She did not know he was from Bollywood and had no idea what a movie producer did.
