Maserati has launched its winter presence in Cortina d’Ampezzo with the opening of Casa Maserati inside the Alajmo Cortina restaurant, using the occasion to unveil the new Grecale Cristallo Special Edition to an international guest list that included actor Jeremy Renner and newly appointed brand ambassador Roberto Bolle.

The opening event on 10 February brought together figures from entertainment, sport and business at the Località Ronco venue, with the first ten units of the special edition Grecale serving as courtesy vehicles for guests throughout the evening. The Cristallo edition takes its name from the Monte Cristallo peak that overlooks the town and represents the latest output from Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalisation programme.

Cristiano Fiorio, Maserati’s chief marketing officer, said the brand’s presence in Cortina extends its vision of contemporary elegance while engaging with different territories and languages. The setting allows Maserati to celebrate the connection between design and Italian lifestyle with customers at the centre, he added.

The Grecale Cristallo is distinguished by its Azzurro Aureo exterior colour, a Fuoriserie finish that incorporates gold mica and shifts appearance under different light conditions. The cabin features Premium Ghiaccio leather in a pale shade intended to evoke alpine light and snow. The special series is available in Modena, Trofeo and Folgore versions, retaining the mechanical specifications of each while adding the exclusive Fuoriserie content.

Roberto Bolle’s attendance at the event formalised his role as Maserati brand ambassador, following his performance at the Modena plant last year during celebrations for the return of GranTurismo and GranCabrio production. The dancer and the brand share a pursuit of harmony between aesthetics and performance, according to Maserati, with elegance functioning as a language rather than ornament.

Chef Massimiliano Alajmo, who has served as a brand ambassador for several years, hosted guests with a gastronomic experience inside Casa Maserati. The venue itself represents a collaboration between the Trident and the restaurant group, creating an immersive space for media, partners and guests against the Dolomites backdrop.

Design house Giorgetti also used the event to premiere the NEREO table football, a new piece in the Giorgetti Maserati Edition Collection. The collaboration, launched in 2025, continues the dialogue between the two brands and will see additional furniture pieces unveiled during Milan Design Week in April.

The Winter Olympics will take place in Italy this year, with the Olympic flame having passed through Maserati’s historic Modena plant on 8 January during the same event where the Grecale Cristallo was first previewed. The brand’s Cortina programming will continue throughout the season, with Casa Maserati serving as a base for partners and guests.
