Maya Jama is said to have been looking at purchasing a luxury mansion raffled off by Omaze because she and her boyfriend Ruben Dias are ‘ready to move in’ to a home they can call their own

Maya Jama and Ruben Dias are said to be ‘deep in thought’ about buying a house that was once raffled off by Omaze. The Love Island presenter, 31, confirmed her relationship with footballer Ruben, 28, earlier this year and the pair have reportedly been eyeing up the £4 million mansion in Cheshire.

The 6,300 sq ft four-bedroom house was initially a prize offered by Omaze, a company that partners with various charities and has seen celebrities like Coronation Street actress Samia Longchambon and Steps star Claire Richards head up advertising campaigns encouraging members of the public to enter for a chance to win. The luxury home was won by Emily Ward with her lucky £25 ticket.

Maya and Ruben were reportedly spotted looking at the mansion, and, in any case, are at the point in their relationship where they ‘want to move into a place together’ that they can see as their own.

A source said: “It’s the third time Ruben and Maya have looked at the property. They spent about two hours there on Wednesday. It’s quite a long time to spend on a viewing but the house is very captivating. Ruben arrived in his Lamborghini and Maya came separately in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes.

“They looked deep in thought when they left together. The house is up for rent at around £20,000 a month, but also up for sale if the price is right.

“Maya has been spending increasing amounts of time in Manchester and Ruben is very settled at City. They are very happy together and want to move into a place together which they can call home,” the source added to The Sun.

Emily, who also won £250,000 as part of her prize, said after winning: “The house is spectacular — I can see why it’s so popular with millionaire footballers. It will be quite surreal popping out to buy a pint of milk and bumping into Wayne or Coleen Rooney. We could stay here for years if we decided to — or maybe we’ll rent it out to a new Man City signing?”

While both Maya and Ruben appear to like to keep their romance off social media as much as possible, it seems things are getting serious behind closed doors. They both looked happier than ever as she shared a rare loved-up mirror selfie.

Just weeks ago, it was revealed that Maya may even be considering a move up north to be closer to Ruben, having spent plenty of time in Manchester to be near him. A source said : “Maya loves the down-to-earth nature of Manchester, as well as the glamour of the football and WAG scene.

“Bristol and London will always be special to her, but she is loving spending more time in Manchester with Ruben. The city has become a celebrity hub — with The Brit Awards scheduled to be held there for the first time in February.”

Maya has often shared photos from Manchester, having stayed at Ruben’s luxury apartment and enjoyed meals with his private chef. The couple have been spotted exploring the city on dates and were at the Apple store in the Arndale Centre last month.

According to reports from The Sun, the relationship became more serious in recent months. Maya is said to have introduced Ruben to her mum, Bernadette, and has been making an effort to learn her partner’s native language by taking Portuguese lessons.
