Meet F1 Racer Oscar Piatri’s Girlfriend, Lily Zneimer, Childhood Sweethearts, Met At Boarding School

Famous F1 racer, Oscar Piastri, is a famous Australian racer known for his performance in the F1 Japan Grand Prix. It is worth mentioning that Piastri’s performance comendable after weeks of crashes, mechanical problems and watching F1 races from the sidelines. The racer finished second at the Japanese Grand Prix on March 29, 2026.

Oscar Piastri has been in a relationship with Lily Zneimer since seven years. The two met each other during boarding school in England and have been inseparable. The two attended the secondary school at Haileybury in Hertford, Endland, north of London. As per reports, they started dating in the second last year of their school. The 24-year-old racer like to keep his relationship private but not secrative and it is what he once told in Eff Won with DRS podcast. He said:

“We keep it private, [but] not secretive like some relationships are. We keep it to ourselves and try to be out of the spotlight and just live normal lives.”

Oscar Piastri made his relationship public when he won his first F1 race at the Hungarian Grand Prix in July 2024. While his girlfriend, Lilly was missing from the audience, he made sure to give a shourt out to her. He cutely took her name and stated that he was sure that she must be watching the race. He said:

“Hi to Lily, I’m sure you’re watching. I will see you soon. Thanks. This is for everyone, this isn’t just for me.”

Piastri was 14 years old when he pursued racing in the UK. He attended the boardhing school at Haileybury college. During his time, he met Lilly Zneimer. They have been together since then and it’s been seven years. They had distinctively different backgrounds in school, Oscar struggled to earn 35 percent attendance in the last year. On the other hand, Lilly got the best grades and in 2018, she was among the few students who earned the best GCSE exam result as per the school’s website.

It is worth mentioning that Oscar Piastri spends the year travelling around the world, On the other hand, Lilly often attends his races and award ceremonies to cheer for him. He once shared that his girlfriend often attends his races and it is nice to see her in the stands. During Oscar Piastri’s debut 2023 Formula 1 season, his girlfriend appeared in few of his races in different countes including the Italian Grnad Prix, Singapore Grand Prix, and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. She would often enter the paddock with Oscar. 

Apart from rooting for each other, Oscar and Lilly often enjoy alone time. In middle of 2023 F1 season, the two took a break from the racing and visited the Algrave in Portugal. In fact, at the time of Australian Grand Prix, Oscar had taken his girlfriend to his hometown in Melbourne. The two had taken a helicopter ride and even visited an animal sanctuary. Oscar revealed how it felt to be back to his hometown with the love of his life. He said:

“I’ve really enjoyed coming back here when I can and to be able to share that with my partner as well is very special. It’s been nice to have her here this time and relax a little bit, have a bit of downtime, and show her some of the sights of Melbourne.”
