Who is Sohael Kathuriya’s first wife, Rinky Bajaj?

Talking about Sohael’s first wife, Rinky, she married him in 2016. The couple dated for a short time. As per reports, they met on Facebook and started dating afterwards. At that time, Rinky was friends with Hansika, who also attended their marriage. Hansika was seen in all of Rinky’s wedding celebration from sangeet, haldi and wedding. 

Rinky Bajaj is an entrepreneur and socialite. She grabbed headlines when reports of her ex-husband, Sohael, were set to marry his second wife, Hansika Motwani. Reportedly, Rinky belonged to close knit circle of Hansika, who also shared a friendly bond with Sohael at that time. Rinky is in her early 30s and hails from a business family. She is also involved in a number of entrepreneurial ventures and tries to maintain a low public profile.

Coming to her failed marriage with Sohail Kathuria. The relationship ended peacefully after fews years of their marriage. They both moved on without any public controversy or blame game, and without maligning each other’s names. But the buzz surfaced around their first marriage at the time Hansika was about to get married to Sohael.

Sohael Kathuriya’s second divorce

Hansika and Sohael got married in December 2022, in a grand wedding at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. The wedding was even broadcast as a series on JioHotstar. However, the couple parted ways after a year of marriage. The rumours surfaced after Hansika removed several videos and photos with Sohael. However, she maintained a dignified silence on the matter. 

As per a recent report in India Today, Hansika had approached the court to file for a divorce by mutual consent. However, she had decided not to make any alimony claims as part of the separation. Hansika was represented by advocate Adnan Shaikh. He claimed that the couple had been living away from each other since 2024. 

Regarding what led to their divorce, it is stated that the two realised their temperaments, opinions and lifestyles were significantly different. This would often lead to frequent disagreements between them. The report further stated that the couple’s parents, relatives, and friends attempted to help them reconcile, but their efforts to mend the relationship failed. The two have been living apart since July 2, 2024. They both have submitted their affidavits confirming that they don’t have any claims or demands against each other.  

For those who don’t know, Hansika married a businessman, Sohael Khaturiya, in a grand wedding ceremony at Jaipur’s Mundota Fort, and it was documented and featured on JioHotstar. The title of the docuseries was Love, Shaadi, Drama, and it gave fans a glimpse of Hansika’s dreamy fairytale celebration.
