But even as the 40-year-old’s health improves, he has become the centre of a new controversy involving a woman named Margaret, also known as Margarita, who claims to be his “spiritual wife.” According to TMZ, Quinton, who is now awake and actively communicating with his family, announced that he does not want to meet Margarita at all. Margarita revealed that she is Quinton Aaron’s ‘spiritual wife’ since his hospitalisation, even though they are not legally married. She reportedly met Aaron through TikTok, and the actor had previously credited her with helping him through difficult periods, including struggles with depression and weight loss. She reportedly stayed by Quinton’s side during his hospitalisation and initially made medical decisions.

According to the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal, Margarita has described herself as both a makeup artist and a registered nurse. However, Quinton’s family later questioned some of those claims. But her constant presence in the hospital and her statements about their relationship quickly sparked concern among his relatives.

According to TMZ, the whole scene took a dramatic turn as Quinton regained consciousness. His family informed him that Margarita was legally married to another man. The outlet reported that his relatives had discovered that Margarita had been married for more than 3 decades, contradicting her claim to be Quinton’s wife in any form. After knowing the truth, Quinton Aaron reportedly expressed disappointment and clarified that he did not intend to see her. Restricting her access to him at the hospital, he told his family:

“I do NOT want to see Margaret at all.”

What happened to Quinton Aaron? 

Quinton Aaron was hospitalised at the beginning of late January 2026 after he suddenly lost feeling in his legs. He had collapsed at home, and subsequently, the doctors confirmed he had suffered a spinal stroke. For those unaware, it is a rare but serious condition caused by disrupted blood flow to the spinal cord. According to family statements reported by TMZ and other outlets, Quinton was initially in critical condition but has made major progress in recent weeks. Quinton is now awake and undergoing rehabilitation, including practising writing and solving puzzles. At the same time, his family confirmed that he has regained sensation in his legs but still has a long way to go.
