Meet Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani lesser-known relative, married to top businessman, has properties worth crores, Virat Kohli was her husband’s…, she is...

Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani have been in the limelight often due to their massive businesses. While the Ambani brothers, Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani, are well known globally, very little is known about their two sisters, Deepti and Nina Kothari.

In contrast to the public image of their well-known brothers, the Ambani sisters have led very private lives and stayed out of the limelight for a long time. They have been able to maintain their privacy and stay out of the public eye despite being members of one of India’s largest and most respected business families.

Born on January 23, 1962, Deepti Salgaocar is the youngest Ambani sibling and has been married to Dattaraj Salgaocar. Dattaraj Salgaocar is a prominent businessman based in Goa and runs several successful businesses, including the V.M. Salgaocar Group of Companies, where he serves as the Managing Director. He also owns one of Goa’s leading football clubs (Salgaocar FC). In an effort to preserve and promote Goan culture and traditions, Dattaraj Salgaocar established the “Sunaparanta” Centre for the Arts, where Deepti serves as Vice President and is also an Advisory Board Member.

“Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts was founded in 2009 as a not-for-profit, process-based arts foundation by Dipti and Dattaraj V. Salgaocar with the vision to nurture, preserve and promote the artistic and cultural legacies of Goa through collections and archives; to encourage, sponsor and promote innovative work in the visual arts to serve as a bridge between the Goan art community and the national and international art communities; to provide mentoring and resource support to art students and others who want to learn about art,” reads the official website of Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts.

Deepti and her husband have two kids, Isheta D. Salgaoncar and Vikram D. Salgaoncar. They live in a lovely home in Dona Paula near Panjim, Goa. Both Deepti and her sister, Nina Kothari, choose not to be involved in the limelight, but are regularly seen at various family functions and events thrown by the Ambanis.
Aside from being a cricket lover, there was also a football side to Dattaraj Salgaocar’s interests and ventures where he partnered with cricketing icon Virat Kohli, Videocon’s Venugopal Dhoot and Dempo Group’s Shrinivas Dempo to create an Indian Super League franchise called FC Goa, as cited in the Times of India.

Dattaraj Salgaocar left the FC Goa franchise ownership group in 2016. She has large property holdings worth crores, mainly derived from her family’s real estate portfolio, as well as from her successful business interests, and is known for being very private and conservative in her lifestyle, even though she is a member of one of the world’s wealthiest families in India.
