Jon Bernthal has played some iconic roles in films and television. He has been active since 2002 and has given his voice to certain characters in some video games, including Manhunt and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Jon started his career with a film titled Mary/Mary, playing the role of ‘Manny.’ In the same year, he was featured in a TV show, Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Jon later built a fan base with his performance in The Class as ‘Duncan Carmello,’ followed by Eastwick, where he was seen as ‘Raymond Gardener.’

Jon Bernthal has been a part of many movies over the years. He played ‘Al Capone’ in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian and ‘Brad Bodnick’ in The Wolf of Wall Street. Jon Bernthal’s wife is currently working as a Nurse Anesthetist

Jon Bernthal’s wife, Erin Angle, has been active as a nurse for all these years in various medical centers and hospitals. Erin’s LinkedIn profile says that she went to Canon McMillan High School and later joined the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained her BSN in Nursing. In 2006, she came to the University of Southern California and acquired her MS in anesthesiology in 2008. 

Erin is currently serving as a Nurse Anesthetist at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center. She has previously worked at the Stanford University Medical Center, USC University Hospital, Maui Memorial Medical Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Georgetown University Medical Center. Erin’s LinkedIn profile also says that she is a resident of Santa Monica, California.

Jon Bernthal and Erin Angle were reportedly in their 20s when they first met each other in 2000. The first meeting happened at a party in Washington, D.C. Back in 2018, Jon recalled seeing Erin for the first time, stating that he had never seen anyone so beautiful. The duo began dating shortly after they had a conversation at the party. Jon and Erin tied the knot in 2010 in Potomac, and the wedding was officiated by Bernthal’s acting teacher. The couple reportedly separated in the past for certain reasons. Jon revealed in his interview in 2018 that singer, Willie Nelson, helped them to reconcile, as he stated:

“I snuck backstage. I found this beautiful postcard and wrote Willie this long letter and rolled him a beautiful joint and told him the situation with me and my woman. I told him she’s a good-hearted woman in love with a good-timin’ man, and I asked him to play this one song, ‘Always on My Mind,’ for us, and he did.”

In 2011, Jon Bernthal and Erin Angle welcomed their first child, Henry. The couple’s second child, Billy, was born in 2013, followed by a third, named Adeline, around two years later in 2015. The third child, Adeline, was once in a coma after being diagnosed with encephalitis. According to PEOPLE, Erin did not leave her child during that period, and Jon once recalled the time in an interview, saying that he witnessed a lot of courage and beauty in his wife.
