The Mets have a roster.

Jared Young and lefty Richard Lovelady won the bench and bullpen competitions, respectively, on the eve of the club’s season opener Thursday at Citi Field against the Pirates.

The also-runs in the races — infielder Vidal Brujan, lefty Bryan Hudson and catcher Ben Rortvedt — were designated for assignment Wednesday.

Young will be a lefty bat off the bench capable of playing first base and a corner outfield spot. With the Mets keeping Young and not Brujan, Bo Bichette will be the backup shortstop.

Lovelady — a six-year major leaguer who pitched in eight games last season for the Mets — will be another lefty in a pen that is absent the rehabbing AJ Minter.
