Superstar offensive talent will be all over the court Friday night when top-seeded Michigan matches up with No. 4 seed Alabama in the Midwest Region of the Sweet 16.
The Wolverines, who entered this round as the chalk to win the NCAA Tournament, come in as massive 10.5-point favorites against the high-powered Crimson Tide.
Alabama has the nation’s No. 3 offense at KenPom, slightly ahead of Michigan at No. 6.
The Crimson Tide led the nation in tempo coming into the tournament, so expect fireworks Friday night as star guards Labaron Philon Jr. and Latrell Wrightsell look to thwart the brash style of play led by Wolverines forwards Yaxel Lendeborg and Morez Johnson Jr.
Michigan vs. Alabama prediction
The total for this game comes in at 175.5 points, 30 above than the next-highest game for Friday’s quadruple-header.
In fact, it’s by far the highest projected total of any game we’ve seen in this year’s NCAA Tournament.

We know offense will be coming in bunches; the question will be who gets stops and whether Michigan can keep up with the Crimson Tide.
My model understandably has a massive score attached to it, but it’s still not enough to justify the 173.5-point total for this clash at the United Center in Chicago.
The projected score I have is 89.39-80.60 in favor of the Wolverines, which puts us at a 170-point total.
That’s a decent edge to take on the Under.
Betting on College Basketball?
You can also catch the Crimson Tide’s moneyline as high as +456 odds at Kalshi or +425 at Fanatics Sportsbook.
If this contest is played 10 times, I find it hard to believe that the Crimson Tide’s guard tandem doesn’t win this clash at least twice.
The Play: Under 173.5 (-110, FanDuel) | Alabama moneyline (+456, Kalshi)
