Mrunal Thakur Reveals Her Ex-BF Was Insecure Of Hrithik Roshan, Amid Dating Rumours With Dhanush

Bollywood actress, Mrunal Thakur, who is all gearing up for her film, Do Deewane Seher Mein, has been grabbing a lot of attention because of her personal life. For the unversed, in the past few months, multiple reports have been linking Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush. Some even suggested that the two were getting married. However, Mrunal shut down all the rumours. Amid that, the Gumraah actress opened up about her ex-boyfriend and revealed he was jealous of Hrithik Roshan.

Mrunal Thakur’s ex-boyfriend lost more than 15 kgs because of Hrithik Roshan

Recently, Mrunal Thakur appeared on comedian, Raunaq Rajani’s YouTube channel to promote her upcoming film, Do Deewane Seher Mein. During the same, she opened up about one of her ex-boyfriends and revealed that he was uncomfortable and insecure of Bollywood superstar, Hrithik Roshan. Mrunal explained that while she was working with Hrithik on Super 30, her ex-boyfriend started working out and built his muscles to match up to the good-looking actors. Mrunal Thakur was quoted as saying:

“So this guy, who was a Scandinavian, he thought that I was hanging around and shooting with a lot of men who were good-looking, like Hrithik Roshan. So he started working out, lost like 15-17 kgs, and he got muscles. Later, I found out, because there was a point he just stopped working out and started eating and gained 20 kgs. And I was like what’s happening? And he told me, ‘I’m just tired catching up’. But I was like, I never asked him to lose weight, but it was his insecurity that I was hanging around with such good-looking men.”

Mrunal Thakur’s rumoured relationship with Dhanush

Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush first sparked dating rumours in August 2025, during the special screening of her film, Son Of Sardaar 2. Their warm conversation sparked romance rumours online. Later, Mrunal Thakur denied having a relationship with Dhanush; however, fans were not convinced. In early 2026, multiple reports claimed that Mrunal and Dhanush are all set to tie the knot on February 14, 2026. A few weeks ago, Mrunal Thakur reacted to the same and shared:

“Me? No. I think 14th April is going to be the 1st April…14th Feb is going to be the 1st April. April Fools’ Day. Because I don’t know who started…First of all. I’ve been quoted, but I never said anything. And they just said, Mrunal said so. I was like, wow, how beautiful. It’s scary.”
