New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said the emerging new world order is increasingly inclined towards India, noting that several countries are approaching New Delhi to sign trade agreements.
Replying to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha, the Prime Minister said India is signing “future-ready” trade deals and referred to the proposed agreement with the 27-nation European Union as the “mother of all trade deals”.
PM Modi said India has emerged as a strong and credible voice of the Global South, playing a key role in articulating the concerns of developing nations on global platforms.
Highlighting the country’s economic performance, he said India is witnessing high growth with low inflation, reflecting the strength and resilience of the economy despite global uncertainties.
Meanwhile, members of the Opposition staged a walkout from the Rajya Sabha during the Prime Minister’s reply, protesting against various issues.
