A-lister Nicole Kidman had her eyes opened working on her new series as she discovered the adults-only platform creators can make millions out of

Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman has lived a lot of life, but surprised fans when she revealed that she was totally green behind the ears about OnlyFans – until her co-star Elle Fanning opened her eyes about it.

Attending the New York premiere of her upcoming Apple TV+ family comedy drama Margot’s Got Money Problems, in what was her first public work appearance since the news broke of her split from Keith Urban last September, she was stopped by a reporter on the red carpet.

He said, “It’s funny and it’s serious, but a lot of it comes from the differences in how one generation feels about something than the other. Obviously the ‘Only Fans’ angle I’m talking about, but tell me a little bit about that?”

Hilariously, Nicole, 58, laughed as she revealed that she knew absolutely nothing about the increasingly popular adult content creator platform – until her co-star filled her in.

“I didn’t know anything about ‘Only Fans’ until this, and then Elle (Fanning) educated me and then I did my research. I’m like, oh, okay. But that’s what’s so cool about doing shows and artistically how you’re constantly learning and growing and learning new things.”

The star-studded premiere of the show, which is exec-produced and stars Ella and also Michelle Pfeiffer with Nicole playing a small role, took place at Regal Union Square Theater, followed by a reception at The Bowery Hotel. The eight-part drama is set to drop on the streaming service on April 15,

The drama follows recent college dropout and aspiring writer, Margo (Fanning), the daughter of an ex-Hooters waitress (Pfeiffer) and ex-pro wrestler as she’s forced to make her way as a young single mum with a new baby, a mounting pile of bills and a dwindling amount of ways to pay them. – turning to OnlyFans to make ends meet.

Fresh from her January divorce from country star Keith, 58, Nicole told press at the New York premiere that this summer she has “nothing going on” – and it’s a deliberate move on her part. “I have teenage girls, and we want to have our whole summer (together),” Kidman, 58, said. “We’re going to go have some summer fun.”

Kidman shares two daughters — 17-year-old Sydney Rose and 15-year-old Faith Margaret — with her ex. As a part of their divorce, which was finalized in January, the two stars are following a parenting plan in which the Eyes Wide Shut actress has primary custody.

While she may be taking a step back from commitments this summer, Nicole is busy right now filming the second season of the Prime Video crime thriller Scarpetta, alongside Jamie Lee Curtis and Bobby Cannavale, admitting it’s “amazing to already have” another season of the series.

Of her executive producer role on Margot, the star -who has also recently been named an ambassador for Chanel, confessed, “It’s fantastic to be able to be behind the camera,” adding that it was “so exciting” to have Pfeiffer and Fanning “front and center” on the show. “Obviously, I have a small role in it, but I’m just happy to be here watching great actors do great work.”

We’ll see Nicole next in the sequel to 1998 classic Practical Magic, this autumn, co-starring Sandra Bullock and with Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing set to return as Aunts Jet and Franny.
