What happened last year when these teams met

Round 25, 2025: If past results between these two clubs count for something, then the points could really flow tonight. In their only clash last season, Manly celebrated departing legend Daly Cherry-Evans’ 350th NRL game for the club in style with a 58-30 victory at Brookvale.

The Sea Eagles also notched a half-century against the Dolphins at Brookie in 2023, winning 58-18. But in 2024 the Dolphins turned the tables on Manly with a 30-24 defeat at Suncorp Stadium.

Welcome

Good evening, and thanks for joining us as Kieran Foran’s bold bid to make Manly great again – or at least a tad more competitive – begins in earnest tonight.

After three successive losses, all at home, and a bye to open the season, the Sea Eagles travel at Kayo Stadium in Brisbane to face the eighth-placed Dolphins.

There’s a lot more interest in this match than there otherwise would have been after a dramatic week for Manly, who sacked Anthony Seibold as coach the day after their loss to the Roosters and appointed his assistant Foran as interim coach.

We look forward to bringing you all the action. Kick-off is at 8pm.
