Noel and Liam Gallagher once again reunited at Wembley Stadium for the Carabao Cup final, which saw their beloved Manchester City take home the trophy
Liam and Noel Gallagher have reunited again at Wembley Stadium – but sadly, it is not for another incredible Oasis concert.
The pair are at the ground in London to watch their beloved Manchester City play Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final. The Mirror was told they will be sharing a box with friends and family, some of whom are even fans of the opposition. “It will be noisy in there,” the source said.
Noel and Liam were joined by Noel’s two sons from his previous marriage, as well as Liam’s children Gene and Lennon, and Gene’s girlfriend, Nevey Maya. Sharing a snap from inside Wembley, Villanelle frontman Gene said: “Form is temporary. Diamonds are forever. Ugh it don’t get old does it!” Meanwhile, Lennon said: “Say less,” alongside a picture of the pitch.

Noel often attends City games and is a regular at their Etihad stadium, and whilst Liam goes to games less often, he has been photographed watching City at Wembley several times before.
Noel spoke about the Wembley plans last month on TalkSport. He told DJ Andy Goldstein at the time he didn’t think Liam was going to the Brit Awards before adding: “We’re just organising tickets for the Carabao Cup final today.”
In the lead up to the game today, Liam has also been chatting to fans on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter and confirmed he was off to the match.
He joked he was going to “hand glide” into the box where he would be watching the match and also promised another Oasis fan he would post a selfie if City won.
Liam added: “I’m excited to spend a day with loved ones just so happens there’s a football game being played at the same time.”
When another City fan said they were nervous for the match, he replied: “Don’t be nervous, it’s only a game, a football deep breaths and enjoy.”
Last year Liam and Noel reunited their band Oasis for a sensational five month tour – starting in Cardiff in July and ending in Brazil. They received rave reviews everywhere and unlike their old tours the brothers remained friends throughout and walked on stage holding hands.
Noel, 57, quit the Manchester rock group on August 28 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”, and the brothers had made negative comments about each other for more than a decade.
That all changed with the announcement of the tour in August 2024 The pair posed for several photos together confirming the band’s long-awaited reunion on Tuesday, saying: “The great wait is over.
UK fans remain hopeful there will be more Oasis tour dates this year or more likely in 2027 but nothing is confirmed. Rumours continue that they may return to play Knebworth 30 years after they first played gigs there.
