Following an undeniably tricky few months, a source claims Olivia Attwood and her husband Bradley Dick are still very much love each other and she’ll ‘fight’ to save their relationship
After what she’s admitted have been a tough few months, Olivia Attwood is refusing to give up on her marriage to Bradley Dack. The Bad Boyfriends star, 34, might have looked the picture of happiness when she tied the knot with the footballer in 2023, but behind the scenes cracks have started to show – and now friends say the couple are doing all they can to get back on track.
“Olivia and Bradley have been in a really tough place recently,” says our source. “But Olivia is keen to show Bradley how much she wants to make things work and she is hoping they can find some common ground.”
Olivia and Bradley, 31, first dated shortly before she found fame on Love Island, but broke up after he was unfaithful – prompting Olivia to sign up for the ITV2 reality show that made her a star. After a brief relationship with villa hunk Chris Hughes, Olivia rekindled her romance with Brad and the pair got hitched in a lavish London wedding in June 2023.

However, rumours of tension between the couple first started in August, when Olivia enjoyed a boozy holiday to Ibiza with close pal Pete Wicks and a group of mutual friends. During the trip, she and Pete were snapped looking cosy on a yacht, with the former Strictly star wrapping his arm around Olivia.
The pictures sent the rumour mill into overdrive, with reports claiming Bradley was “fuming” over his wife’s White Isle antics. A source said at the time, “He trusts Liv, but Pete having his hands over his wife while she’s wearing a bikini isn’t a great look. He’s livid with her for putting him in this position.”
Following the trip, Olivia joked about her “feral” summer and even dubbed herself a “bad wife”. Brushing off the furore, she said last month, “A lot of men get sucked into the idea of a woman, and when they date them, they think, ‘Actually I don’t want her to go to a rave in a bikini.’ But I’m like, ‘This is who I am.’ I am still going to go to Ibiza to a rave and wear a bikini.”
Despite Olivia’s attempts to brush off the drama, our source says Bradley has been struggling. “It’s not been easy for them the last few months and Bradley did feel embarrassed about all the headlines,” says our source. “It’s not nice to see. They both know how loyal they are and how much love there is.
“But Olivia doesn’t see the problem with going away and getting papped, and Bradley feels like he isn’t a priority to her because of that.”
Last week, Olivia admitted that she and Bradley have been having a tough time. After a follower asked why Bradley hasn’t been appearing on her social media recently, Olivia took to Instagram Stories to address the situation, saying, “He’s alive, I swear. 10 years of us. A lot has changed. Marriage is frikinnn hard (no one wants to say that part out loud) and I’m just not a faker.
“I’m not posting pictures if they don’t reflect our reality. We are doing our thing, and if there are any more updates, you will be the first to know.”
While Olivia admits that talking about her personal life is part and parcel of being in the spotlight, our source says being so open “doesn’t come as naturally” to Bradley, who co-starred alongside his wife in ITVX reality show Olivia Meets Her Match.
And while the pair have both spoken of their desire to become parents in the future, Loose Women panellist Olivia admitted last year that she was struggling to decide when to take the plunge due to being so focused on her career.
Talking about the prospect of children, Olivia said, “I’m going to sacrifice my body, mental health, my house and I don’t want to take any time off work because my ambitious personality is so… I don’t want a day off to actually have the baby. I’m a monster!
“But also we’re not getting any younger and we do want a family. Brad wants to have a baby tomorrow and I’m thinking of all the ‘what ifs’. I feel like if it happened, I’d be happy. People have this misconception that I hate children, but that’s not true at all – I wouldn’t mind owning one myself one day – but I’m just scared.”
Now, our source says the couple are unsure about the next steps in their relationship. “Bradley really wants children – all his football friends have young kids – but Olivia thinks there is time to wait,” they say. “Her career is going from strength to strength, so she wants to focus on that and thinks kids can come later.”
Despite there being a few creases that need ironing out, our source says that the pair are determined to fight for their relationship. “It’s normal to run into obstacles when you’ve known each other so long, and Olivia and Bradley are navigating a new chapter in their lives – with marriage and fame,” they say. “It was never going to be easy. But they’re so committed to one another, and that’s something that never wavers.”
