The star surprised fans when it was revealed her eldest daughter, Venezuela, 16, had got engaged to her boyfriend.
Paris Fury, TV personality, and wife of world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, has opened up about their family life and revealed that their eldest daughter Venezuela, 16, will be at home for Christmas, despite recently getting engaged.
The mum-of-seven, 35, insisted that Venezuela, who said yes to marrying her boyfriend Noah Price earlier this year will have a starring role in the family’s festivities.
Speaking about the upcoming celebrations, Paris said: “Yes, Venezuela will be with us. Even though she’s engaged, she’s still my little girl and Christmas morning is always special in our house.”
Venezuela’s engagement made headlines in September when Paris shared the moment on social media. The proud mum posted a video showing Noah proposing during Venezuela’s 16th birthday celebrations, surrounded by family and friends.
She added: “I’m most looking forward to having all the kids together and just enjoying a proper family Christmas. Our house is chaotic in the best way, and I love it.”
Paris’ touching statement comes after the mum-of-seven, whose kids are aged from two to 16, was forced to defend her daughter’s decision to get engaged.
Appearing on This Morning, Paris spoke to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about the news. She said: “She’s very young, [but we don’t] worry at all, Venezuela is so mature for her years.
“She has done so much, even in such a short time just because of who she is and the fact that she’s got six younger brothers and sisters that she has helped bring up, I can’t deny it.
“She is very mature, and in the last 12 months I’ve been doing work with Venezuela, she’s been doing different shoots, interviews, working on social media.
“I’ve given her all options in life, and she has chosen this path and I can’t deny her. I was 17 when I got engaged, so she’s obviously following in my footsteps, and how could I judge her in any which way?
“I know she’s young, but I think she’s found the person that she loves, and if she’s happy, I will completely support her.”
While she admitted to wishing that Venezuela had held off a bit longer, she reminded critics that she and Tyson were similar ages when he proposed and that it was “in line” with their traditions.
Paris also shared her thoughts on whether she would expand her brood further. “I’m very happy as we are. Seven is a beautiful, busy number, and I feel so blessed,” she commented.
“I’m not planning any more at this stage – my hands are full and my heart is full!”
