Paris Fury and daughter Venezuela, 16, join us on the Isle of Man to talk chaotic family life, wedding planning and holding the fort with the couple’s huge brood while Tyson’s abroad
As they laugh and joke with each other during a gorgeous photoshoot for Notebook, the bond between Paris Fury and her teenage daughter Venezuela is clear to see. The 16-year-old influencer and her mum are very different in some ways, but in others they’re like peas in a pod – although they admit, they do have their moments.
“I’m more calm,” says Paris, 36. “And I’m definitely more hyperactive,” Venezuela tells us. Paris adds, “Venezuela’s quite out there. She’s not too bothered about people’s opinions, she’s confident. She just… shines.
“We argue over everything, but there’s no badness behind it. It could be, ‘Move out the way, I’m making the coffee.’ ‘No, I’m making it.’ We’re quite… loud in our house. That’s just the way we operate.”

But Venezuela, who admits Paris will be thoroughly spoilt on Mother’s Day, says she’s blessed to have such a strong woman for a mum, and calls Paris her “role model”.
“I usually get the lovely Mother’s Day cold toast made by the little ones,” Paris laughs. “And you have to eat it like it’s the most delicious thing anybody’s ever made for you.”
Paris once famously called her eldest daughter a “privileged little brat”, but says Venezuela has matured.
“When we shot the first series of At Home With the Furys she was 13 – mature for her age, but still a tormented teenager. But she turned 15 and blossomed. She’ll chat, she’s friendly, less argumentative. So parents – they do come out the other side.”
To her parents’ shock, Venezuela got engaged last September. Her boyfriend Noah proposed during her glitzy 16th birthday party. It came sooner than expected, but Paris is delighted.
“I didn’t feel old enough for this, but she is over-the-moon happy,” Paris says. “The two of them are in their own little bubble. And look, I got married myself at 18.”
So could there be the patter of tiny feet soon? “Venezuela’s only young,” says Paris. “They want to do some travelling, make their own life first, so there’s no rush. I don’t think I’ll be mentally prepared for that even in a few years’ time. We’ll see!”
Although Venezuela wants to “follow her own path”, she sweetly says of her famous parents, “They’ve got seven beautiful children and a lovely life. I’d be lucky to end up half as happy as them.”
The family recently moved to the Isle of Man and Paris concedes that it will be tough when her girl flies the nest to move into the new home she’s bought with Noah after their May wedding.
“I’ll feel like I’ve lost my arm,” she says. “It’s going to hit me hard. Right now Tyson’s in training camp, the kids are in school, and Venezuela and I… basically co‑parent! But I do let her have her space. The weekends are her time. I know she’ll be fine, getting on with an exciting new life. It’s me I’m worried about.”
As for wedding planning, Venezuela has started looking at dresses and venues, and has some of what her mum calls “quirky ideas”, involving acid pink-and-yellow bouquets. “We’re thinking it’ll be quite small, but to anyone else it’ll be like the biggest wedding in the world, because we’re all very OTT,” laughs Venezuela.
Tyson will be paying, as per Traveller tradition, and has already had a so-called man-to-man chat with Noah when he formally asked for Venezuela’s hand in marriage. So far, Paris’s only imparted wisdom for her future son-in-law is, she laughs, “Enjoy Venezuela’s many personalities, I hope!”
Amid the wedding planning and family life, Tyson has been training in Thailand for his big comeback fight in April. Paris says, “We’re in totally different time zones, so phone calls are limited. But as ever it’s, ‘let Tyson do his thing’.”
He’s been out there with their 14-year-old son Prince, which Paris says is hard, but she’s kept busy at home by their five children under nine. She says, “It’s really hard work. I’m totally outnumbered, but we push on and hope for better days.
“Rico, who’s two, will say ‘Dad’s boxing.’ But then on FaceTime, he’ll go, “I come to you, Dad.” And he looks at the background and he’ll go, “Why are you on holiday, Dad? Why did you not take me?” It is so hard for them when they’re little.”
Meanwhile, the girls are in the thick of filming for the next series of their Netflix show, At Home With The Furys , which Venezuela says she’s enjoyed more this time around because she’s “chilled out a bit”.
It will feature her engagement, a birthday party for the kids’ grandad, the launch of Paris’s partnership with Eternal Collagen, which she is an ambassador of, and Paris and Tyson’s second vow renewal in the South of France last August.
The secret to its success, Paris believes, is that it’s just real-life, warts and all. “We’re just a normal family, though some might look at the show and think we’re crazy. I cook dinner fresh every night, I clean. We don’t have ten maids running around with dusters or two chefs cooking French dinner.”
Though they could no doubt afford to, Paris admits it’s about keeping her brood grounded. “I’ve achieved it once with Venezuela. Hopefully, I can keep it going with the others.”
Paris also believes part of the draw of the show is the insight it gives into Tyson’s personality. “Tyson, as we know, has his mental health issues and every day is a new day with him. Every day you get a new version. And people are fascinated by our hectic lifestyle. One day you’re at home helping the kids with their homework, the next you’re flying around the world.
“But at the heart of it is also me being a mother, trying to keep everything together. There’s so much people relate to. Not everybody could live like we do, but my life’s been such a whirlwind for so long, I don’t think I could have it any other way.”
So do they want to become the next Kardashians? Paris laughs. “Not at all. I still don’t get why people are so interested in us – or how we have a show that people across the world watch.”
For Venezuela, she’s focused on growing her social media platforms and pursuing modelling. But with the same laid-back approach as her mother, she’s “just seeing how things go.”
Her friend group now includes another teenage reality star, Princess Andre, who Venezuela says is “really nice” and has given her sound advice on navigating the world of celebrity.
Paris says, “She’s talented, a lovely young kid. I’ve seen her a few times and she’s just stunningly beautiful, but with a personality to match.”
The term “nepo baby” gets thrown about a lot when it comes to celebrity offspring, but Venezuela says she doesn’t take offence and is grateful for “being given a hand in life”.
Paris adds, “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. She isn’t going to magically have a career just drop in her lap just because she’s our daughter. She has to go out there and get it.”
Of course, another family member with massive success is Molly-Mae Hague, who is engaged to Tyson’s younger brother, Tommy. Molly recently announced she is pregnant with baby number two, and Paris couldn’t be happier for her.
“It’s beautiful, and great for Bambi. I really get along with Molly. We don’t get the time to see each other we’d like, but when we do get together, we’ll give each other advice, it’s really nice,” Paris says.
“She’s bossing it. I know she struggled with Bambi at times and she’s been open about that, but she’s a great mum. I’m so proud of her.”
