In one of the videos, Piyush’s sister, Illa Arun, was seen weeping profusely as she looked at her brother for the last time before bidding him goodbye forever. Although Illa tried to keep calm, she couldn’t control her emotions.

What was the cause of Piyush Pandey’s passing?
Hours after Piyush Pandey’s death, his sister, Ila Arun, issued the first statement regarding the loss of her ‘precious brother’. She told The Indian Express that Piyush was suffering from pneumonia and succumbed to complications from the ailment. She referred to her late brother as the life of their family and said:
“My brother passed away at 5:50 a.m. this morning because of pneumonia complications. He was in the ICU. As a sister, I can say he was a precious brother and the life of our family.”
